CROSS TALK OF HOPE, LOVE, VICTORIA TALKS ABOUT GOD ...

Many might be tempted to ask why we, as Christians, we celebrate an instrument of torture, a sign of distress, failure and defeat. It is true that the Cross expresses all these meanings. Yet, because of that has been raised on the cross for our salvation, represents also the final victory of God's love for all the ills of the world.

An old tradition says that the wood of the cross was taken from a tree planted by Seth, the son of Adam, where Adam was buried. In that same place, known as Golgotha, the place of the skull, Set planted a seed of the tree of knowledge of good and evil, the tree that was in the garden of Eden. Thanks to divine providence, the work of the evil would have been wiped using his own weapons against him.

Deceived by the serpent, Adam turned away from the childlike trust in God and sinned by eating the fruit of one tree in the garden which had been banned. As a result of that sin entered the world of suffering and death. The tragic effects of sin, ie, suffering and death, became quite evident in the history of the descendants of Adam. We heard the first reading today, that evokes the fall and foreshadows the redemption of Christ.

As punishment for their sins, the people of Israel, exhausted in the desert, was bitten by snakes, and was only saved from death by turning its gaze to the command that Moses was high cross that would foreshadow the end of sin, death once and for all. We see clearly that man can not save himself the consequences of his sin. You can not save himself from death. Only God can save him from his moral and physical slavery. And God so loved the world that he sent his only Son, not to condemn the world, as justice required, but that the world might be saved through Him only Son of God has had to be high, as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, that all who look in faith with life.

The wood of the cross becomes the instrument of our redemption, like the tree that was removed led to the downfall of our parents. The suffering and death consequences of sin, became just the means by which sin was defeated. The innocent lamb was sacrificed on the altar of the cross, however, the immolation of the victim sprouted new life: the power of the evil was destroyed by the power of self-sacrificing love that.

The cross, therefore, is something bigger and mysterious than they may seem at first sight. Certainly it is an instrument of torture, suffering and loss, but at the same time shows the complete transformation, the ultimate victory over these evils, and this makes it the most eloquent symbol of hope that the world has ever seen. Talk to all suffering, the oppressed, the sick, the poor, the marginalized, the victims of violence, and offers them hope that God can turn their pain into joy, communion and isolation in their living death. Offers unlimited hope our fallen world.

is why the world needs the cross. It is not simply a private symbol of devotion, it is a badge of belonging to a group within society, and its deeper meaning has nothing to do with the forced imposition of a creed or a philosophy. About hope, about love, speaks of the victory of non-violence of oppression, speaking of God exalts the humble, gives strength to the weak can overcome the divisions and overcome hatred with love. A world without cross would be a world without hope, a world where torture and brutality would not limit where the weak would be subjugated and greed would have the final word. Man's inhumanity to man is manifested in an even more horrible, and the vicious cycle of violence would never end. Only the cross can end it all. While no earthly power can save us from the consequences of our sin, and no earthly power can defeat injustice at its source, the Love God's redemptive intervention can radically transform the reality of sin and death. This is what we celebrate when we rejoice in the cross of the Redeemer. St. Andrew of Crete rightly describes cross as "the greatest of all goods ... for which and for which culminates our salvation and restoring us to our original state of righteousness" (Sermon 10: PG 97, 1018-1019).

Dear brother priests, religious ones, dear catechists entrusted to us the message of the cross so that we can offer hope to the world. When we proclaim Christ crucified, we do not proclaim ourselves, but to Him do not offer our own wisdom to the world, do not claim any of our merits, but we act as instruments of his wisdom, his love and redemptive merits. We know that we are simply jars of clay, however, have been surprisingly chosen to be messengers of redemptive truth that the world needs to hear. We never tire of admiring the extraordinary grace that is given us, we never cease to acknowledge our unworthiness, but at the same time, let us strive always to be less unworthy of our noble calling, so as not to undermine the credibility of our testimony to our mistakes and falls.

ALBIS, CELEBRATION OF THE MASS ON THE FEAST OF DIVINE MERCY

With heart in Rome in the solemn beatification of the Servant of God Pope John Paul II, the Brothers of the Society of Christ Priest and Queen Mary celebrated at 10 am Holy sung mass of Dominica in Albis : Feast of Divine Mercy.

On the different nomenclature is named cite an article by P. Jon M. Arza :

The Second Sunday of Easter goes by many names: of Saint Thomas "because it proclaims the gospel of unbelief and subsequent confession of the Apostle (Jn 20, 19-31); also Sunday" Eighth ", because it ends the Octave Passover is a great Sunday. The pericope of the Gospel itself mentions the Eighth, when he says that Jesus appeared again to his disciples in the Cenacle eight days after the first day of the week (Jn 20, 26). Sunday is also known as "the Divine Mercy," which is the last name she has received, by instituting the Pope John Paul II the Feast of the Divine Mercy according to the revelations of Our Lord to the Polish saint Faustina Kowalska (1905-1938). In fact, Jesus asked her to consecrate the I th Sunday after Easter to the devotion of Divine Mercy. (...)

The name "Dominica in Albis" is one of the oldest. It's actually "in albis vestibus depositis", ie, when the neophytes (who had been baptized at the Easter Vigil), Sunday to attend the celebration of Holy Mass, having already deposed (on the eve of Saturday's octave) their albs or white robes, received that night reborn to eternal life and had worn throughout the Octave. (...)

Finally, the "Second Sunday of Easter Sunday is also" Quasimodo ", since, like other important Sundays of the liturgical year (for example, Domingo" Laetare "- IV th of Lent), takes its name from the first words of the Introit antiphon (or entrance song). In this case, the anthem is a text of 1 Peter 2, 2: As newborn babes, desire the pure spiritual milk: Quasimodo geniti infants, alleluia: rationabile but concupiscite dolo lac, alleluia, alleluia, alleluia.

Help me, oh Lord, that my eyes may be merciful, that I never beware or judge from appearances, but look so beautiful in my neighbors' souls and seek help. Help me, oh Lord, that my ears may be merciful, to take into account the needs of my neighbor and not be indifferent to their pains and groans. Help me, O Lord, be merciful to my tongue, to never speak negatively of my neighbor, but have a word of comfort and forgiveness for everyone. Help me, oh Lord, that my hands may be merciful and full of good works, that I may do only good to my neighbors and load about me the most difficult and painful. Help me, oh Lord, that my feet may be merciful, so that I may hurry to assist my neighbor, overcoming my own fatigue and my tiredness. My true rest is in the service of my neighbor. Help me, O Lord, my heart is merciful, that I feel all the sufferings of my neighbor. No one will refuse my heart. I'll be honest even those of whom I know will abuse my kindness. And I will lock myself up in the Merciful Heart of Jesus. Will bear my own suffering in silence. Your mercy, O Lord, rest in me.

EASTER SUNDAY II : FEAST OF DIVINE MERCY

JESUS \u200b\u200bI TRUST IN YOU

SANTA'S JOURNAL Maria Faustina Kowalska:

the evening, being in my cell, I saw the Lord Jesus wearing a white robe. He had one hand raised in blessing and the other touched the robe over his chest. Opening of the robe in the chest, leaving two large rays, one red and one white. Quietly, carefully watching the Lord, my soul was full of fear, but also a great joy. After a moment, Jesus said: Paint an image according to the pattern you see, the signature: Jesus, I trust in You. I hope that this image be venerated first in your chapel and then throughout the world. (47)
promise that the soul that will venerate this image will not perish. I also promise, and here on earth, victory over enemies and above, at the time of death. I Myself will defend as My own glory. (48)

When I told the confessor (48), received in reply that referred to my soul. He said: Paint the image of God in your soul. When I left the confessional, heard these words again: My image is in your soul. I wish there was a Feast of Mercy. I want this picture painted with the brush, to be solemnly blessed the first Sunday after Easter, that Sunday should be the Feast of Mercy. (49)

My child, look into the abyss of My mercy and gives honor and glory to the mercy of Mine, and do it this way: Gather all sinners and immerse the world into the abyss of My mercy. I want to give me the souls, the souls desire, My child. The day of my party, the Feast of Mercy - travel across the world and bring souls to the power flagging Mercy. I will heal and the fortificaré. (206)

Once, when the confessor told me to ask Lord Jesus on the meaning of the two beams that are in this picture, I said yes, let them ask the Lord.
During prayer inside I heard these words: The two rays denote blood and water. The pale ray stands for the Water which makes souls righteous. The red ray stands for the blood which is the life of souls ...
two rays issued forth from the very depths of My tender mercy when My agonized Heart was opened on the cross for the spear.
These rays shield souls from the wrath of My Father. Blessed is he who lives in the shadow of them, because you do not the just hand of God. I want the first Sunday after Easter Easter is the Feast of Mercy. (299)

Requests My faithful servant (132) in that day to speak to the world of this great mercy of Mine, that anyone approaching that day at the Fountain of Life, you receive forgiveness of sins and penalties. (300)

The first Sunday after Easter, ie Feast of Mercy of the Lord, the closure of the Jubilee of Redemption. When we went to this feast, my heart beat with joy at being together so closely these two feasts. I asked God for mercy for the souls of sinners. When he finished the job and the priest took the Blessed Sacramento to give the blessing, he suddenly saw the Lord Jesus the same way it looks in this picture. The Lord gave the blessing and the rays are spread all over the world. Suddenly I saw a clarity unattainable in the form of a glass room, light waves woven impervious to any creature or spirit. To enter the three doors was clearly at that moment Jesus, it looks like on the picture, came into the glare through the second door to the interior of the unit. Trinitarian Unity is that it is inconceivable, infinite. I heard the voice: The Fiesta has come from the depths of My mercy and is confirmed in the pit of my thanks. Every soul who believes and has confidence in My mercy, will get it. I am delighted the goodness and greatness of my God. (420)

soul will not find any justification until it turns with trust to My mercy and so the first Sunday after Easter is to be the Feast of Mercy. That day, the priests have to speak to the souls of My infinite mercy. Tell the confessor that the image is exposed in the Church and not the convent within the enclosure. Through this image will fill the souls thank you very much, so let every soul have access to it. (570)
souls die in spite of My bitter Passion. I offer the last board of salvation, ie, the Feast of My mercy. If you do not adore My mercy, they will die forever. Secretary of My mercy, writes, speaks to the souls of this great mercy of Mine, it is near the Terrible, the day of My justice. (965)

I want to grant complete pardon to the souls that will go to confession and receive Holy Communion on the Feast of My mercy. (1109)

John Paul II, WITNESS

is therefore necessary that everything I said in this document is processed continuously mercy in fervent prayer, in a cry that implores mercy according to the needs of people in the contemporary world. Condense this cry the whole truth about mercy, which has found such rich expression in Sacred Scripture and Tradition and the authentic life of faith of countless generations of the People of God. With such a cry we become, like all the sacred writers, the God who can not despise anything that has been created, the God who is faithful to himself, his paternity and his love. And like the prophets, having recourse to love and maternal characteristics, like a mother, follows each of their children, all lost sheep, but were not millions of lost, but in the world honesty prevail over evil, although contemporary humanity for their sins deserved a new "flood" as he earned in his time of Noah's generation. Recourse to the parental love that Christ revealed in his messianic mission and reaches its culmination on the cross, in His death and resurrection. Recourse to God through Christ, recalling the words of the Magnificat of Mary, who proclaims mercy "from generation to generation." Implore God's mercy for the contemporary generation. The Church, following the example of Mary, is also be mother of men in God in this prayer express her maternal concern while committed love, which is born the most burning need for prayer.

We extend our prayers, guided by faith, hope and love that Christ has planted in our hearts. This attitude is also love of God, who at times modern man himself has distanced himself has done outside, and proclaimed in different ways which is something "superfluous." This is because the love of God, whose offense-rejection by the people today are deeply, ready to cry out with Christ on the cross: "Father, forgive them for they know not what they do." This is both a love of men, all men without exception and division some, irrespective of race, culture, language, worldview, without distinction between friends and enemies. This is love for all good men who truly want each and every human community, every family, nation, social group for young people, adults, parents, the elderly, the sick: it is love at all without exception. This is love, ie rush order to ensure each and every real good and ward away evil

(...) In the name of Jesus Christ, crucified and risen, in the spirit of his messianic mission that remains in the history of mankind, we raise our voices and plead that at this stage of history be revealed once more the love that is in the Father and Son by the power of the Holy Spirit becomes present in the contemporary world as stronger than evil, stronger than sin and death. Let us beseech the intercession of her who never ceases to proclaim "mercy from generation to generation, and also those who have served until the end words of the Sermon on the Mount:" Blessed are the merciful for they shall obtain mercy. - Ah ... but if this is your big concern, I have the answer: you only need to have money.

Most reviewers went through a period of anguish when we are trapped in the entertaining process to guess (sorry, projecting) the behavior of the variables of a project. But the more one examines what has been advanced, clarifying the focus points where the doubts are clarified and more ideas to solve them. And the more clear, more questions arise.

This process is inevitable. We must not "abandon" the project to evaluate a project because you have doubts. On the contrary, we must be aware that almost everything we've done will be modified before submitting the final report.

As Nietzche said, "if you keep the focus, then the focus will keep you." So when people ask me how to focus a problem in the formulation of a draft reply: in many ways (though they think I'm stupid).

EASTER VIGIL IN EL SALVADOR TOLEDO

After accompanying the Blessed Virgin in a meditative silence after holding the offices of the Passion and Death of Our Lord Jesus Christ on Good Friday afternoon, on the afternoon of Holy Saturday, the Brothers of the Society of Christ Priest and Queen Mary were arranged to celebrate the solemn Easter Vigil. At 21 hours of the night kicked off the beautiful celebration.

The office of the Saturday night consists of three parts: 1) The announcement of the Resurrection, with the blessing of fire and candle, the solemn procession Angelica singing or Easter Proclamation. 2) The baptismal liturgy with the lessons of Scripture, the singing of the Litany and the renewal of baptismal promises. 3) The Mass, the new Paschal sacrifice, with the short Lauds.

The blessing of fire and candle is made in the vestibule of the church. The priest takes the purple cope. The prayer of blessing of fire calls for the grace of our souls inflamed in heavenly desires in these Easter celebrations with pure souls can get to the festival of everlasting light. Then the priest marks the candle on the sign of the cross, the Alpha and the Omega, the number this year and put five grains of incense in memory of the glorious wounds of the Lord. After blessing the candle, the priest is coated with white Dalmatian and enters the church. During the procession sings three times at progressively higher tone "Lumen Christi" to which the faithful respond "Deo Gratias" .

The first "Lumen Christi" is sung by the priest only with the candle, in the second turn on their faithful ministers after the third all the faithful light their candles. The explanation is as follows: at first, Christ, light of the world, enlighten the apostles, second to the disciples and, finally, to all peoples, he "Lumen Gentium"

The priest then place the candle in its candlestick-it incenses and goes to the lectern to sing the Easter proclamation .

The faithful, standing, with its lighted candles continue their missals Angelica singing.

The singer in front of the candle, his back to the epistle side, singing lessons. The priest and the faithful sat listening. L as readings of the Vigil are: 1) creation (Gen 1.1 to 2.2) 2) The deliverance from Egypt (Exodus 14, 24 to 15.1) 3) The presence of God in the midst of Zion (Isaiah 4, 2-6) 4) The call of Moses before entering the Promised Land (Deut 31, 22-30).

Following the lessons, the singing of the tract and the priest recites a prayer in spiritual and typological relationship with the text. Completed
lessons now start the singing of the Litany of the Saints, during which the priest and the faithful still kneeling. Omitted

our blessing Vigil water for not baptismal font, the priest invited the faithful to renew vernacular-Lent-ended promises of holy baptism. Then the priest over the church sprinkles the faithful with holy water and begins the second part of the Litany of the Saints.

Ministers retire to the sacristy to have everything for the celebration of Holy Mass. The liturgy of the Mass of the vigil has the following characteristics: Deleted the preparatory prayers before the altar, the priest begins Mass incense the altar. During the singing of Gloria bells are rung. Not sung the Creed nor is there Offertory Antiphon, neither sings the Agnus Dei. The fee has parts own for the octave of Easter. The Communion Antiphon is replaced by the triple Alleluia and a psalm and, after the purification, the priest intones the Antiphon to the Benedictus.

The paschal candle has been painted by our Missionary Sisters of the fraternity.

The altar was decorated for the Solemn Vigil with beautiful flowers to show the joy of Easter and placed in a small size baroque altarpiece of the Risen Christ.
